Hello World! Welcome to the TyReasonablyEdTech Blog! My name is Tyrese Hinkins-Jones, the creator of TyreseJSpace!

About Me:

I'm a daughter, wife, mother, twin, sister, friend and so much more! I am a firm believer in lifelong learning and challenge myself daily to go beyond the status quo! I have a specialist degree in instructional technology and love using my expertise and skillset to help others in higher/medical education.

Purpose of the Blog:

I'm very passionate about making a difference. I see this blog as a way of sharing my passion and purpose at the same time, while helping others (hopefully) in the process. I will be sharing how I utilize educational/instructional/information technology tools for teaching/training, learning, and streamlining process. I will also share projects I am working on as well as reviews of technology tools I am learning and/or using.

I will also be sharing my journey in leadership and development in higher and medical education. My journey in higher education started as a work study student in the financial aid office in 2002. This start marked the beginning of a new direction and allowed me the opportunity to work in many areas of higher education to include:

  • Academic Support

  • Admissions

  • Adult Education

  • Financial Aid

  • Online Education

  • Student Affairs

I even spent a year at the technical college and distance education level working at Technical College System of Georgia. It was here that my love for the use of technology blossomed. This also opened the door of my transition into medical education, where I have been for the last 14 years working with the MD curriculum.

This has definitely been a career journey that has progressed in a way that even I did not expect or prepare for. I hope this blog inspires others along their own journey and learn a little something in the process!

Thanks for being here and I hope you enjoy!
